Naquele que seria o seu dia de aniversário, recordo a faixa de abertura do álbum póstumo de Leonard Cohen, "Thanks For The Dance". Produzido por Adam Cohen, o disco cumpre o desejo do seu pai de terminar algumas músicas que escreveram juntos.

Adam Cohen terá explicado que a música é uma declaração de intenções: "I think it's one in a long line of songs that have his essential thesis in life, which is the broken hallelujah: Everything cracks, and this is what happens to the heart."
